I think the entire book series is gay, so this comes as no shock.

If she hasn't spelled it out or alluded to it in the books, I'm not sure she can just go back and start revising like that. Critically, the book is out of her hands. It seems like she's pandering to her audience because she hasn't told us where it is in the text. Lame.
