Couple of interesting notes about the recent "Back to Belhaven '08" tabloid mailer sent recently.
- In spite of the fact that Belhaven was recently named one of the most racially diverse colleges in the South by U.S. News and World Report, the designer managed to create an inside spread almost entirely devoid of minorities, with those present being incidental background imagery. One of the two is dressed as a maid.
- Both Harrison's and my wife grace the inside.
- The Republican elephant is standing right on top of the Democrat donkey, who appears to be running away, or diving off the page to take his own life.
- This would make sense with Condoleezza Rice as reigning homecoming queen.
